Two things are giving me the energy I need to keep on writing. Actually, make that three pieces of good news.
- I’ve been accepted into the Golden Egg Academy’s 12-month writing for children program to work on a middle grade novel. If you write for children and you don’t know about this UK-based group, then I suggest you head over a.s.a.p. Imogen Cooper and her band of merry teachers/editors have been making me want to get out of bed in the morning.
- My picture book manuscript Mouse and Hen has been longlisted for the 2022 CANSCAIP Writing for Children Prize.
- Huffington Post is highlighting an article I wrote a few years back in their Social Justice set of weblinks. “What Women Wear Daily: Male Aggression” was published before the #MeToo movement, and I’m rather proud of it.
